Re: WOULD YOU LIKE TO HEAR A STORY?
morning Vic,
Can I enquire why you post on the 'users' section rather than the 'members'?
I recall clearly you saying to me, at Majors Creek 2003, "You should join the ABPA". You are the one who put me in touch with the website (that was). I know you are a member you wear your badge on your hatband. I am just curious.

G'day Zondrae,
Seems tome that only members can post or reply to poems in the ABPA section. I like everyone to have a say on what I write so I post here.

A very vaild and important point Vic I was not aware ( did not read the bit at the bottom ) of that. Yes i can really understand your feelings on that point.
Does the restriction on comments in the members section to members only encourage people who want to comment to join ?
Or does it have an adverse effect ?

The purpose in life is to have fun.

Re: WOULD YOU LIKE TO HEAR A STORY?
Vic, anyone can post comments for the members' poems. Darren (my long suffering husband) is not a member and he can post comments for members' poetry. Possibly you could not on the old forum (from memory).
Even though it says you can't - you can.

Re: WOULD YOU LIKE TO HEAR A STORY?
Sorry Bill, I didn't explain that too well. You, as a member, can post in the members section and anyone can make a comment - they don't have to be a member to comment.

Not what it says, so I guess that anyone who is not a member would attempt to post or reply there.
Re: WOULD YOU LIKE TO HEAR A STORY?
YOu are probably right Vic. Why don't you take it up with Manfred and have your democratic say?

And bloody good on you Vic. I cannot believe nor understand this 'Holier Than Thou Post In Member's Section' stuff. Surely we are hot heading towards some exclusive little group that keeps our works away from the rest of the world!!
Again, bloody good on ya, Mate, and I'll be doing the same!
