I must admit I do ask why or how.
For an experiment, I asked a young boy if he thought that it was possible that I had once been a little boy just like him...he said " No "
I like to remind young people that I was once what they are, they have never been what I am.
I know about being young, they don't know yet about being old.

Hi Matt,
I love this poem, very thought provoking, yes somedays its feels like the pages are fairly flicking, i'm not ready for the last chapter.

Yeh I know Bob,
Last week I was down at the quacks for a check up and he said to me
Come back and see me in a fortnight if your still around
. You know Bill you being an old stockman and If I was a vet
( sometime I reckon he might be )
he made this strange statement you know if you were a horse I’d put you down but I ain’t a vet
