A POET'S DELIGHT
A POET’S DELIGHT
The sun was sinking in the west
as the sun is prone to do,
The twinkling stars so high above
shone from the velvet blue,
The breeze was sighing in the trees
all was peace and quiet -
Just the perfect setting
to see what clichés I could write!

Aah, Vic, I was just beginning to sit back and enjoy the scenery!
Good one!

The quiet and write does not ring true for me Vic.
Love the poem and the pictures but that bit sticks out for me.

I was pretty slow on the uptake there Neville but in my defence I plead advancing years.
Bob thought about "quiet and write and think you are right," but thought I might be able to sneak it through because most people say quite not quye-et.
