WHY

Post by LongMan » Sun Dec 30, 2012 6:12 am

G'day All,

Board seemed a little slow, guess we are still getting over the Christmas cheer. Thought I'd post a thinker..........

WHY:

Why things happen I do not know
Why does life seems eternal yet is never so
Why do our minds dream of firm solid goals
Why do we let these twist and change as we grow old

Why can life be fragile to even those strong of heart
Why can living be wondrous yet sad when we part
Why is creation a beginning yet not know how long it will last
Why do our quiet walks travel though unraveled dangerous paths

Why are joyful words used to hide false meanings and delusion
Why is a happy memory a dramatization of life’s simple confusions
Why are moments obvious yet be inconsequential or complicated
Why is the view of a morning sky important yet oblivious or dated

Why is commitment valuable yet shallow to those we hold dear
Why is loyalty given yet can’t be excepted by those so near
Why do we honor yet avoid thoughtful guidance and trust
Why is our all hearts open yet taken and abused till they bust

Why do we have compassion yet see plain truths difficult to bare
Why is parental guidance meaningful yet misguided or never fair
Why can loyalty be given yet a sacrifice of treasures by those we wish care
Why is a life so wonderful yet death so sudden and full of despair

Questions are the answers, yet nothing is as simple as the single why.

The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!

So many questions and so few answers Philip - its like the search for the Holy Grail and the meaning of life - I think the only answer to many of them is Why Not? or even worse - Because

G'day all,
