RENEWAL - a renga
Re: RENEWAL - a renga
Maureen, just read your "renga" again. It's very peaceful and pretty. I like it. I also hadn't heard the word "soughs" before, so that's my one thing I learned for the day.

Bob, just as haiku is not for you, performing is not for everyone either....
There, do you feel better now?
Love the poem Maureen. I reckon it would be hard on the back though the old pole dancing!

I've got the gift of a lot of things Bob
Too much Pole dancing when young equates to many pain killers when old.
Swedes give better massages. I dig Swedes.
Should have bought shares in Ibuprofen when I was younger I think - can't even mow at the moment
Lawn is taking on the appearance of an urban jungle - Ellyssa is not impressed.

Thinking outside the square - not hidebound by convention - game to try new things save incest and folkdancing
Someone has said that poets are by nature rebels and non-conformists.
Good on you Maureen. I must admit that I am not a great fan of Japanse poetry, I don't think it transmutes successfully into English, but I enjoyed your brief look at something different.
