JIMMY WHO? JIMMY CHOO
Jimmy Who? Jimmy Choo
She’s wearing black satin slingbacks – Jimmy Choo I heard her say
a steal at $800 dollars – do you think so? Well OK.
My mind did some calculations. That would feed a family
for a month by my quick reckoning. Seems a waste of cash to me .
They were just open toed sandals with stiletto heels to boot,
one each for left and right foot, have to say they didn’t suit
her particularly, as I thought her ankles were quite thick
and the Jimmy Choo shoe looked too tight – they wouldn’t be my pick.
She did the stand up, walked the line, and gazed into the mirror.
Sat down again, looked at the price, saw wallet getting thinner.
Foot fetishes are very fine, shoe fetishes are worse
when you pay that much for simple shoes it does affect your purse.
No doubt if you’ve got it, flaunt it – you could start strutting your stuff
in the bars and city nightclubs, till your feet have had enough
of the pinching and the blisters – make a choice ‘tween old and new
but I’d settle for a comfy pair and bugger Jimmy Choo.
Still no one is twisting my arm – and high fashion’s not my thing,
there are more important things to spend my money on this Spring.
I am lunching in the city – meeting friends. We often choose
to do this when op shop shopping – seeking out Jimmy Choo shoes.

Good one Maureen. I could buy a lot of shoes for $800 but then I wouldn't have enough days in the week to wear them all. I'm with you - a comfy pair and a couple for good and a good pair of gum boots!

Thanks Bob, I'll just pinch yours when I'm there if it's all the same to you.
