COLLABORATIVE POEM 9 - A HELPING HAND
Lets see what comes from this one- I started it after the floods but it went on the back burner -was trying to get across the message that help comes in many disguises- not always directly - because some folks and animals don't take kindly to help. and so sometimes it is more of a hand up type of gesture It started with the analogy about the sparrow that no doubt you are all familiar with -
Structured it as ABABCCCD -EFEFGGGD- etc etc and since I finally finished it I have moved it from here.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.

The end rhyme on each line eg side/hide = A ; willow/pillow = B; ground/bound/sound = C; thwarted/supported/comforted = D etc etc
