Good on ya Kym. Well done. That's the worst bit over now.

Dave I'd have to say that little rocking horse did remind me of Kym's poem. Do you make them for mates? ;) It's a very nice rocking horse Dave. YOu are very clever.

Congratulations Kym!!! I had to wait all day to read this, and it was well worth the wait!! Written with your usual skill and sensitivity - it was beautiful!! And certainly not a 'fluke' win - a very deserving one!!

Dave, your rocking horse is pretty special - means so much when you have taken the time to make it. It is gorgeous!!
I bet your grandy loves it!!
I bought a rocking horse for Lila - couldn't resist it. There is something about rocking horses and kids!! But looks like I should just have chatted to you first!! ;)

Hahaha IRene, that's very cute! I've got a very similar one of Noah on the almost the same rocking horse (mine's the darker one). Get 'em in the saddle early, hey?

Congratulations on your win Kym. :)

I was interested in how you described to Heather, your first speech at Toastmasters.
I have much the same experience every time I get up at a bush poetry performance.

CONGRATULATIONS Kymmie. Very cleverly written, with the present & past interwoven. I'm thrilled to see that you are giving performing a good go....yess!
