Finished putting my own music to this one last night - may even cut a demo and post it here in a week or two ... :)

Sounds real good Manfred. Look forward to hearing it to music.

For those of you who haven't heard him, Manfred plays lovely guitar. He played for Maureen and I in Ipswich - it was a real treat.

Tried to work out the tune you would use Manfred but will just have to wait till you record it.

Good lyrics

Thanks for your kind comments Folks ... was initially a bit of whimsy, given that the sum of a person's existence equates to a line or two on their headstone, I thought I'd write a 'Postscript' to my Epitaph ... I re-visited it again a few nights ago and saw that it was 'dumb' enough to translate into a lyric ... picked up the guitar and VOILAAA!! ... :D

I should have it down pat by the Hunter Festival in October ... :o) ... anyone else going??
Without meaning to scare anyone, I've been asked to take the Songwriter's Workshop ...

We drove from Bourke to Goodooga via Weilmoringle , one rainy night , and crossed the Queensland border twice.

It beats me how people can play an instrument and sing words at the same time. I truly admire that ability, I wish I could do it. I wish I could even play the guitar. Come to think of it, I'm not much of a singer..oh well . Good on you Manfred, you have my applause.
