But Maureen, those few words express so much.

Re: Spring
Maureen, when I first started writing poetry, one of the things I really wanted to be able to do was to describe that tree in blossom. I'm not there yet but I'm getting there.
But, is it bush poetry?

A word dance in 3-4 time just right for spring!
Lovely Heather, our apple trees are still asleep, but the plums and the apricot blossoms from their buds, They peep.
Thank you for the bright and cheery reminder to smile.

It's never to late; just do it
I'll set pen to paper
Write now, not later
And post it so others may view it

Re: Spring
Neville I was just being cheeky and "doing a Neville".
I was cheekily referring to your other post about whether a poem was bush poetry. My poem does not refer to Australia in any way or the Australian way of life but it is inferred that it is Australian because you all know I wrote it.
It is poetry and that is what that matters to me...
