THE PERFECT MALE

The Perfect Male

I was doing a dance with Dyson – he’s one bloke I still turn on.
I nicknamed him eveready, oh he is so big and strong.
Some folks claim he is a sucker – which I thought was somewhat mean
for in my eyes my darling Dyson is a big strong mean machine.

I confess the girls don’t like him – they think him far too loud
but if you have attributes so good why hide them in a crowd?
He does all that I ask him to then gives a little more
and leaves those other wimps behind. So glad he found my door.

Nothing is any trouble he will check beneath my bed
unlikely though it is that he will find a crumb of bread
hidden in that location, for my small four on the floor
picks up anything that’s edible and then goes seeking more.

Find it, find it, find it I cry should anything I drop
and Elly will, she’s good like that – she doubles as a mop.
But when the hard yards must be done – the getting down and dirty,
my Dyson is the bloke for that, and he never gets shirty.

I know - you girls are envious, you fancy Dyson too
but I will not share – sorry girls, he’s a brother or two
that might be lurking, waiting, sitting … sadly still upon the shelf
I could recommend you get one..but this one I keep myself.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
