Re: BY THE LAGOON
aaaah! Sue,
Don't you just love the moon? You can talk about a sunrise but there is nothing like moonlight over water to make you feel relaxed. (Or perhaps I should say 'me' not the general 'you'.) I love the moonlight. It is so gentle and in complete opposite to the sunlight. Made me think of the 'Addams Family' from TV. Do you recall Mortisha always trying to get a Moon-tan? There is only one thing I like better than moonlight and it is looking up at a clear night sky. Sometimes I try to imagine that I could dive in and swim among the stars. Oooow I'm waxing rather lyrical. Perhaps I may be inspired to write something grand today.
I think you have created a delightful scene and a very calming atmosphere. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you Zondrae, and I hope your health's on the up.
Yes, a night under the stars is magical. We often camp at Micalong creek, the night sky there has to be seen, and a dip under a full moon at midnight is magical.
Cheers
Sue

Re: BY THE LAGOON
Just for Sue.
Why I'm Not A Nudist
Now I've always been a wee bit green
But I'm not a real tree hugger.
I recycle everything I can
Cause I'm a funny sort of bugger.
But I've wondered what it would be like
To forget my worries and my woes
And become as one with nature
And run around without me clothes.

Re: BY THE LAGOON
Yes, very pretty. I found myself thinking of 'The Water Lily' by Henry Lawson which, as I recall, derives from Yeats' 'The Stolen Child'. Interesting how we don't find Nature as threatening as we did one or two hundred years ago. Or am I making too much of this?
