Another prime example of writers' creating and having fun.

What on earth does stressed sections and rhomboid rumbles mean ????
I really think that fun is not quite the word for poetry ( maybe on the odd occasion ) . To my ideas , fun is when you park your brain at the door and whizz around on the octopus ride or go down the giant slide.
I think art and poetry are pleasure and that is different.
When you work at something and the end result is something new, something of the imagination and something carefully crafted in a fine way. Then the pleasure of art is realised.
I think the goal of poetry is pleasure perhaps, more than fun.

Re: Opinions Wanted
G'day Irene,
Now if I was working with my old PC I could put together a little book in a week. As I did once. But this Mac, which is supposed to be much more user friendly (bah humbug) is a challenge to me. I often have a piece of writing that I am happy with and when I go to save it or send it (in the case of an email etc) as soon as I move the mouse... the work vanishes. Never to be seen again. So who knows how long it will take me.
I will print my own with a colour laser printer. I usually do runs of 20. I have all the necessary tools. long arm stapler, guillotine etc. to produce a nice looking book without much expense. I just need some pictures to go with the poems. (and the incentive).. I know a few people who have spent thousands of dollars to put out a book then spend the rest of their lives trying to shift them. problem being if they cost a lot to produce you have to charge a lot to sell them. I prefer to plug along with my little $5.00 books. (but then that is just me)
