details

I have already heard from several WA poets who will be attending.
But with four programs featuring bush poetry, there will be ample opportunity for all poets, whether beginners or seasoned campaigners, to have a go.
New and regular poets will be included as and when I know who is coming. Thursday, Friday and Saturday sessions will be for all who can make it to Boyup Brook for all or part of the weekend. It would help if any poets coming were to contact me so I know who will be here and when. I can then ensure that everyone can participate in the program.
Camping is available on my farm, which is only 5 minutes from Boyup Brook (on the Kojonup road). I can be contacted on 0428651098 (daytime) or 97651098 (evenings).
E-mail: northlands@wn.com.au

A meet and greet BBQ (BYO) will be held at Northlands on Wednesday evening. All poets, friends and other campers are welcome. Any poets staying on Sunday night are welcome to a BBQ put on by the Country Music Club committee.

Looking forward to a great weekend.

Regards Bill Gordon

My apologies for being a little late getting these results up.
Again, the competition standard was very high, and a huge congratulations to the winners and placegetters, and to all the participants for keeping the level of written competitions at such a high level - it seems to me that the bar just keeps getting higher and higher!!

Thank you to all entrants for participating - if you didn't receive a certificate in this competition, please remember that it may well win in another competition - continue to submit your entries to the various competitions, as all judges are different. What wins today, may well not win tomorrow. And very often, a number of the poems that don't place are still award winning poems. Unfortunately, the judge cannot award places to them all.

Yes, a hearty big congratulations to all the winners. And we musn't forget the organisers and judges, without whom these comps just wouldn't take place. Well done everybody.

Hi Everybody,
Val & I have just returned to Canberra today after 3 great weeks up in the High Country of the Snowies and what a great pleasure and surprise this was to welcome us back, can't believe the run of luck luck I'm having at the moment, better buy a lotto ticket.
Thanks to all for the kind remarks and well done to all the award winners and isn't it great to see Marty doing so well.
I'm not surprised as he has been writing some really good poems for some time now as have several others of our newer members, seems like another crop of YOUNGER writers are starting to emerge.
I want to once again offer a special thank you to Irene, if it wasn't for Irene efforts there would be no written Comps in the west.
We slowly start our long trip back west on Tuesday but won't be home until around mid March.

Cheers and once again Thanks,

Terry
