A Poem for the New Year

Post by Neville Briggs » Fri Dec 31, 2010 6:28 pm

BEGINNING

There were a lot of things I hoped to do,
but can't go back and make correction to
the gains and faults that fall behind so fast.
The year that was; just memory of the past.

When do the days become a memory?
A moment's all it takes for now to flee.
The present can't be held and kept in view,
it speeds away, so time's eternally new.

And so again we face another year
of future world beginning as idea.
Not yet to see the end of memories past
nor yet beginning what will always last.

Time flies Neville. So we should make the most of every moment. The chores will still be there tomorrow.

Happy New Year to you and yours. Hope all is going well.

Heather :)

Mangos Dave are the nectar of life.
The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!
