humerus is the bone in the upper arm, humorous is what pedants are not when finding out spelling mistakes.

Into the naughty corner for me! Thanks for that Neville, I knew something wasn't quite right but I was so tired I'm surprised I didn't write knee bone! I promise I will not do it again.
I read my poem out at the concert on the last night. I was going to recite Another Day (Matt) but I was tired, the audience was tired and there was no microphone and the last thing I'd want to do is mess it up. So I decided to read my much shorter poem and it seemed to go down alright. I think I'll learn to recite it next.

Let you into a little secret. The poem that got the novice certificate for at Corryong (and apparently some sort of mention at Tenterfield) I originally wrote when I'd been writing about 12mths - about November 2010. I've made a few changes here and there over time. I think my style of writing has changed a lot since then.

no surprise to me..i think some of our 1st poems come straight from the heart.and are very special...having brewed for a lifetime ..awaiting release from the genie's bottle...
