Since our members have been having overwhelming success at all the competitions, bush breakfasts and festivals around the country I thought for this fortnight’s homework the following line would be a good subject matter.
When I get on stage to recite -
All you need to do is work that line into your poem somewhere - now that is not too hard to do is it?
For those who do they could share their feelings,
those who don’t can express their doubt,
those who might if it weren’t for fright
can share and let it out.
I am sure that there are some funny stories out there about your near misses, faux-pas, successes, deathly silences, poems that fell flat that you can share with your mates.
The would be and could be , the shy, the doubting Thomas’s – can all let it rip right here.
Go to it my lovelies
Cheers
Maureen

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
