And I perform every night for twelve weeks in caravan parks during winter. Other dumbed down poets have dedicated half their life to teaching bush poetry in schools. You have completely missed the point. Bush poetry has been on the verge of extinction more than a couple of times and has always been resurrected by characters who perform to the public and draw their bums back onto seats. These same poets also bust their guts behind the scenes to provide venues and festivals for other poets to perform at. A lot of them actually appreciate it.

Your point? Glenny herself has dressed up in the past. In fact I cannot think of one of our leading poets who hasn't. In dresses? No, I don't even know where that nonsense came from. Touchy? You betcha.

I thought Glenny's opinions were interesting points on the way she sees the 'evolution of performance' and worthy of discussion.

Hully, Keats and Marty Warooa, three blokes we don't hear from too often. Pity, they do some great stuff.
I especially was pleased to see keats little offering in the Workshop, I enjoyed that a lot.
Maybe we should leave this discussion there and as keats has advised before, back to the books. See what good stuff we can come up with, I'm sure there's something.
You three blokes are fairly experienced and there are some inexperienced people on this site who could do with a bit of writing examples to broaden thier horizons.
