First Campfire

Post by Bob Pacey » Thu Jun 14, 2012 9:34 pm

Well what a great succes that was, about 60 people around the campfire for a couple of hours entertainment. Myself, Kymmie Eitel ( who was great ) and Mal Hannah who got a couple of the prizes in Bundy novice section last year.

A great night and good comments recieved.

Vics do not like the cold so did not go for long.

Anyone on the way through look me up. Always lookin for new blood.

Cheers Bob

Enough to cover expenses Manfred,

This was the first for the season so the attendances will only increase with sit down dinners and trivia nights planned for the future.

Cheers Bob

Might have some pics for later will see what comes out in the wash.

Well done Bob,

The picture in your sign on is from the evening I visited you and Kym last winter. We had a great night and when the 'hat' was passed round the crowd showed their appreciation. Don't know if we will be passing your way this winter but if we do I'll give you fair warning. I was impressed with the way you have the campers trained. They set themselves up with chairs and nibbles and drinks and were very attentive. Keep up the good work.

When I come through, mate, we'll get a pay rise if I get a hat as big as yours too!! lol

It's good to see the Tourist Industry pick up finally. Gone from very empty to full almost overnight. Can't wait to get down your way, probably after the main rush (early August). Anyhow we only need to get enough for a bottle of Bundy and perhaps a can of coke.

Looking forward to it.

Neil

I’m breaking me neck to get back to Yeppoon but the pensioners free train pass don’t go that far.

That is one great night.

TTFN 8-)

PS G'day Neil.
