Well Marty,
I am pleased you are satisfied that the outcome was worth the journey. Thank you for offering us the photo and the opportunity to be inspired by it and each others words.
I think, we have done very well. I'll be keeping a copy.

I haven't been keeping up with the collaborative poems and am glad in one way because I've gone straight to the finished product and it's terrific. Congrats to all who contributed.

Morning,
Wow, a whole year has passed.. This is still my pick of the collaborations.
Can I ask (should an appropriate occasion arise) if I can have consent to learn this one for presentation? If none of the authors object, I think I will make it my next on the list to memorise. Perhaps I could launch it at the National Folk Festival in Canberra over Easter? Yep that usually comes pretty close to Anzac Day. Although Easter is a bit earlier next year I think. anyway what do you reckon?

Still my favourite collaboration.
I've printed it out to read at IBP on Wednesday.
There have been some great old photos in our local paper in the past week. I think I'll suggest we use one as a topic for our poem of the week or next month - for our monthly poem. The topics coming out of the 'hat' are very mundane lately.
