If the world didn't tilt

A bit of insomnia striking here.

If the world didn’t tilt

If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be no summer holiday season.
If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be no spring racing season.
If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be no snow season.
If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be no autumn leaves forming a red carpet in the streets.
If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be no monsoon season.
If the world didn’t tilt, we’d have footy all the year round, but maybe only every second week.
If the world didn’t tilt, we’d have cricket all the year round - like we already do.
If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be daylight at the North Pole all year round.
If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be daylight at the South Pole all the year round.
If the world didn’t tilt, a lot of polar explorers would have got home a lot earlier, and eaten a lot less seals.
If the world didn’t tilt, there’d be no animal migrations.
If the world didn’t tilt, the humpback whales would have nowhere to come from, and nowhere to go to.
If the world didn’t tilt, Canadian geese would not fly south for the winter.
If the world didn’t tilt, we could wear the same clothes all year round, except when it was very cold or very hot.
If the world didn’t tilt, it wouldn’t look nearly as cool.
If the world didn’t tilt, it wouldn’t be the world.

List poems, they can be great fun, specially if you can think of a bit of a twist in the list. :) What about the challenge of a rhyming list poem in regular metric lines ,Stephen. ;) ;) :)
