Congratulations to John Peel & Dave Proust

Post by manfredvijars » Sun Nov 25, 2012 7:48 am

Some folks may not know, but our Johhny Peel has had "The Fence Off" recorded in song by Graham Rodger on his latest album "Stronger for it All".

Dave Proust has also had another piece put to song by Dianne Lindsay (Reg Lindsay's daughter) titled, "The Toughest Thing I Ever Did" off her forthcoming album ...

It's great to see that Bush Poet's ability to write decent lyrics is being recognised by artists.

WELL DONE JOHN & PROUSTY :D

Thanks Manfred

Having "The Fence Off" recorded by Graham Rodger on "Stronger for it All" has inspired me to have a bit of a dabble in song-writing and lyrics myself. I have even been game enough to get up on stage in a couple of places and sing an original song ("The Ballad of a Country Boy" has had a couple of public airings now). Where things might go in the future, who knows.

And I give my congratulations to Prousty as well.

Regards

Good on you John,

I'm delighted to hear you are collaborating with seasoned performers. You will learn a lot by working with someone who has 'been there and done that'. You will bring a fresh set of eyes to the genre.
