This is a poem written by a gentleman on another writing site I participate in. I thought it was a beautiful story and with his permission set it up as a video clip/audio clip for him as a little Chriistmas gift across the oceans.
The words are Dave's and the dulcet voice is mine

the fabulous music courtesy by Dancing Willow courtesy of Jamendo

I like that one Maureen.
The volume of the music could come down a bit for me.
And as Stephen Whiteside would say. Challenging the dominant paradigm

Thanks Neville - those volume levels are always a bit of a struggle for me but still considering what I have to play with the end result is not too bad. I actually rerecorded this one 4 times to try and get them right and in the end gave up on trying to fine tune it any more. I do find with the particular program I have that if I actually amplify my voice which is the easiest way I get this god dam awful hissy noise and beep that I then can't eliminate

Just a suggestion to think about. On the ABC poetry program they sometimes have music to start the reading which is then faded out as the speaker begins. When the speaker ends, the music is brought in to finish off. I don't know how that is worked with the audio programs.
I enjoy your reading. You have the perfect voice for reflective, romantic and nostalgic themes.
