Dreams

Post by TomChap » Sun Jan 06, 2013 8:44 pm

This offering is my rendering of a dream that a cousin described. She is a landscape painter and I am still waiting to see her interpretation!

Dreams

I saw a most weird fruit tree: one I did not recognise,
With apples and bananas, and a lovely pear or two;
But even stranger, hanging there, cows that were undersize!
I made a fruity milkshake then to share it just with you.

And there across the golden sands, the sea was rolling in;
It seemed to be quite usual to see the surfers there,
Except that they were elephants, quite small and coloured green,
Transparent, made from jelly; all I did was stand and stare.

I felt that I could share with you, (for you would understand)
These wondrous scenes that drifted o'er my dreamy mental state.
It's surely not the sausages, but on the other hand,
I wonder could it be the orange mushrooms that I ate?

The mushrooms for sure. Enjoyed the idea of elephants made of green jelly Tom.

Not a bad dream though Tom - relaxing on a beach with a fruit medley at hand watching the surf roll in and smoking magic mushrooms :lol: :lol:

Well done Maureen! Even the old man under the tree looks familiar, and sort of happy.

No Ross - my elephant is perfectly normal - a tad green - perhaps a bit of mal de mer, but standing upright and proud as befits such a behemoth - he is not into yoga, despite having eastern connections :lol: :lol:

Only sort of happy Tom? I thought he looked pretty laid back myself ;) Magic mushrooms have that effect I think

You can fish Robere - the jumbo doesn't mind a bit - he doesn't like fish anyway.
