Enjoyed the read Bob - I love Horse poems - this reminded me of Slims song about the Baldy Bay which is a favourite of mine.

As you can see by my previous poems I do not write much serious stuff but when I do it is about the things that matter. Lost a little dog last year who was 15 years old and will post a poem when I get it finished.

Good one Bob. Good to see you have a soft side! My old horse is showing his age now and it makes me sad. He earned his retirement and deserves a few easy years just eating and swishing flies.
