Reminds me of an oldie but a goodie, Bobbo . . .

One day Jesus comes across an angry, stone-clenching mob circling a screaming woman.
"What's going on?" he demands.
"She's an adulteress," cries a voice. "She must be stoned to death."
"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone," replies Jesus, staring back at the crowd. They all fall silent, then one by one they drop their stones and shuffle off, ashamed. All except for one little old woman who stumbles up to the adulteress with a big rock in her arms. She raises it above her head and smashes it down on the woman, killing her instantly.
Jesus lets out a huge sigh then says, "You know, sometimes you really piss me off, Mum!"

On that note, apologies for thread hijacking . . . that should be with in the crap old joke section - my energies are now with the Kembla Flame and writing a worthy poem in time for entry. Good luck to all.

Terry,

I'm sorry fr the format of the entry form. I will have to work on that for future years. It is at the moment spread over 3 pages.

At last the form is on the events page on this site.

Hi Zondrae,
I wasn't being critical, I just mentioned it in case I was doing something wrong

I reckon you've done well getting your comp up and running - there's a lot of work involved.

Cheers Terry

Morning all,

I haven't been in touch with the Competition Secretary to ask how the entries are coming but I thought I should give a little reminder to all the writers - the Kembla Flame entries will be closing on 7th June. So if you haven't got your entries in it is time to get serious and put them in the mail. There are only 14 days to go. One of the conditions is that late entries will not be accepted so, if you are planing to 'have a go' please do it now.
