Homework

Post by DollyDot » Tue Jul 16, 2013 1:32 pm

This is pretty bad but at least I had a go. The mood is set when I have to vacuum and my better half is sitting around watching telly or reading. I hate housework. Here it is for what it is worth!

Don't Lift a Finger

You don’t have to lift a finger. It’ll be right mate!
You can just linger for I know this is my fate
that dreaded daily schedule is always such a race;
my job to do the dirty work around the place.
You seem to be very clever and delay start,
it’s me that scurries around and it breaks my heart.
I’m drawn into its clutches like a baby lamb
to the slaughter or a pig being made to ham!
So don’t lift a finger just go on your merry way
’cause there’s this saying: Every dog has his day!

Reminds me of:
OMG, I have finally realised what is wrong with my brain, there is nothing right, and on the right side there is nothing left.

Well that's me!
Cheers

   seems you just didn't train him right from the start Dot - probably too late now. Great to see you here and don't fall for the old adage that housework is womens work either or I will get cranky

No Maureen, he's like me he just hates house-cleaning but is quite a good cook. I had a friend who would whinge about her husband all the time but then she would say "He has his moments!" Guess most do!

Thanks

Cheers

Dot
