That is a great poem Marty and sadly so true - we can never go back - only forge new paths forward. Old loves, old memories and old places though are always held in our hearts. Good writing IMO

I think this one is going well Marty. I think it is better than the other one about memories. The sentences here are more direct ( subject-verb-object ) and I think that makes more impact in our poetry. Well that's what I am trying to learn. A long way to go yet.
