She's a goodun and I gather some say there is profanity in it well for those who care to look at the Australian dictionary that word is Australian slang AND IT MEAN YOU HAVE DRUNK TO MUCH GROG and this poem is in Australian English not Queens English

I agree with everyone here. Marty this is a terrific poem. That sort of repeating line about never counting the dying, just the dead is so powerful and so so true. A very worthy winner.
