Manfred

Post by Vic Jefferies » Fri Dec 27, 2013 5:05 pm

I am very sad to hear that our esteemed President, Manfred will not be standing for re-election next year.
Manfred has done a wonderful job in advancing the cause of the ABPA and he will be extremely hard to replace.
Thank you Manfred and I wish you all the best for 2014.

Thanks Manfred,

Thanks for your hard work and concerted efforts for the time you have been our leader.

What next for the ABPA? We need a strong dedicated leader to be our 'front man'. Someone with conviction and dedication to the cause. Two of the younger members, and one older come to my mind but as I cannot be at the elections in Tamworth I would like to know how the candidates are chosen. How does a person get their name on the ballot paper and who can nominate or put someone else's name forward? Can candidates be selected before the event to allow for postal (email) votes? Or is it just someone (anyone) at the AGM who will be willing to take on the job.

Thank you Vic for bringing this to our attention. (You aren't interested in the job are you?)

What a man, what a man what a mighty good Manfred!

Great stab at the job of Prez, not to mention Web Guru . . . allst the while attending to your day to day duties of travelling the country and the globe taking selfies and attending vodka breakfasts.

Big shoes to fill, but onward we march.

Cheers, Marty ;)

Cheers and many thanks Manfred.

Almost every question you asked was on the form that was inserted in the latest magazine Zondrae,
you have up to seven days before the meeting and a proxy vote form was also included.

No Zondrae, I do not intend to nominate for the job. It is going to be hard to find someone as talented and as capable as Manfred to fill the position of president.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and good wishes
(AND for my reclaimed life)

Not planning on falling off Earth's "flakey crust" just yet so, doubtless our paths, in some form, will continue to cross ... :D
