Hi! Neil
You being editor of magazine I assumed you would be the one to ask a search question.
Approximately 10 years ago i bought a printout (and have since misplaced in moving), a poem at Tenterfield Information Centre written by John Bird
He was there that year and he recited a poem I think was called “My Pony” about the lighthorsemen having to shoot there horses.
I believe John Bird hailed from Inverell way, but this is only going on an aging memory.
The only John Bird I can locate on Internet is from East Coast somewhere and isn’t the correct one .
Would you have any idea how to go about locating a replacement copy?
I also met you at Tenterfield one year and have a CD of yours and love it.
Many Thanks
Lynne Wright

Was John Bird a retired school teacher/principal?
