the new altered truth of the matter

now is this a monologue to be enjoyed or what

The truth of the matter ©

I was working in the garden,
like a naive, that was me.
And the sweat and I was partin,
for it was leaving me real free.

An the fly’s, were bloody lazy,
when they landed on my back.
Cause me shirt became real crazy,
with its colour now fly black,

And the sun was quite relentless,
shinning bright an rather hard.
And it seemed it couldn’t care less,
as I was workin in the yard.

And me sweat was flowing free'er,
in me eyes an down me back.
And fly's were getting worse'er,
crawling slowly down me crack.

An me trousers was changin colour
from catching all me bloody sweat.
An those fly's are full of valour,
as they slowly crept down lower yet.

When those fly's they all erupted
an they swarmed around me head.
They should of been contented.
So I farted there instead

G'day Bill, nice poem, greatly enjoyed! it wells reminds me along the same lines as Donny LLoyd. he had a great sense of humour and put out a lot of good classics. Well Done.

Duncan.
