mmmmmmm Heather I can tell you if you seen one mouse there are more than that in the house, get your self an auto trap I will post a pic if I can when I had my bird cages out bush I left them in the cages and would catch up to 12 in one night. The Butcher birds used to wait for me to come out of the cages in the morning.
