The FJ shall rise again
I was dismayed to hear that Holden was ceasing making the iconic " Australian " cars in Australia. I thought that I could help out by setting up a budget holden in Australia thyat could easily compete with any cheap Chinese model.
I came up with this little beauty. easily made of local materials. Plenty of spare parts. And Australian made.
As you can see simple and clean upholstery lines. No silly computerised clutter to go wrong at great expense.
Also, simple ,direct and renewable energy system for the power drive. With cool and free ventilation suitable for Australian conditions. No emissions.
General Motors, eat your heart out. We can do it !!

Thank you Marty, Maureen for your incisive comment, you obviously put a good deal of thought into it.

I suppose if you had a dog that would bark in the car, that would class as an emission.

Re: The FJ shall rise again
G/day Neville,
I came across a very early model Holden in the middle of nowhere on a station in the Ashburton a couple of years ago. The body was in pretty good condition and the engine an gearbox were near by. From memory there didn't seem to be much missing at all - if anything.
The strange thing about it was that it was well of any tracks.
Cheers Terry
