Homework 30/6

Post by Ron » Sat Jun 21, 2014 4:17 pm

Well I didn't get a go the first time arouund :) ;)

The Bush

Assemble all the big red trucks, the tinder is so dry
Release the stop cock safety valves, no need to question why,
The air as from a dragons breath blasts scorching tidal waves,
As if its bloods hot cauldron, it’s intimidation craves!
Let safety first prioritise - the going will get tough,
As eucalypts explode, polluting volatile hot stuff!
There’ll be no time for anyone, to sit upon their tush!
When this extreme of nature flares, in our …Australian bush!

At last, an original rhyme for "bush". Love it Ron! Nothing hotter than that dragon's breath is there?

I like it Ron! Dragon's breath is all the go now especially those of us in their second childhood!
Thanks

Dot

Well done and a great use of the prompts Ron and as Heather so rightly points out a novel rhyme for Bush. :? You might want to correct 'there tush' to 'their tush '
