Others it's all rosy red.

Others it's pallid and dead.

Sometimes it's fluffy and warm.
Others it's solid and cold.
Sometimes it's cringing with fear.
Others it's brash and it's bold.

Sometimes it's very familiar.
Others it's foreign and strange.
Sometimes it's here in this valley.
Others it's over the range.

Sometimes it looks too expensive.
Others it feels within reach.
Sometimes it's out in deep water.
Others it's left on the beach.

Sometimes I know what I'm doing.
Others I haven't a clue.

Yes, I was wondering that too, Bob. I read it back and saw the inconsistency. I was too tired or busy at the time to go back and revise. No good reason that I can think of. It just came out that way.
