love it love it love....brilliant Mannie and this says it all
and our arrogance says we'll look after the Earth?
We can't even look after each other.
That is the problem in a nutshell - we are indeed fleas to the Mother, a constant source of irritation that are a problem to eradicate.

Great poem Mannie - thank you

I guess the word awesome is overused these days, especially by the young ( I can't put an age on young ) so I'll resist using it and instead say what my grandson says when he's impressed, a-maaazing. It's also a very good poem

I just wondered how you knew. ;)
Stephen Hawking will steer you on the right track, he reckons it's all in the mind.

Declares and years..partial rhymes..oowah....... good work. ;)

Tut tut, chopping a word in half to get a forced rhyme....."astounding" is one word I'll have you know.

Really good Manny - and I'm with Maureen; we are indeed fleas, and stupid ones at that in the way we treat the Earth! x
