Jackie's Spring Poetry/Verse Story Competition

I was thrilled to learn today I have won First Prize in Jackie's Spring Poetry/Verse Story Competition (story section) with my poem "The Big Green Square and the Little Red Dot".

The competition is run by children's rhyming poet Jackie Hosking.

Jackie's first picture book, "The Croc and the Platypus" (an Aussie re-write of "The Owl and the Pussycat") was published by Walker Books Australia this year.

Also, I took third place in the same section of the competition with (wait for it) Pudrimple Pullingsgate's Late Excuse. It was a story written in rhyme.
