I like both your poem and the anchovy you caught Neville :) The other blokes are just showing off - ignore them

Yes, it has become an all sorts Neville but good for the digestion; whiting anchovies, and what ever the heck that is that Bob caught. I thought a sickle was something to cut long grass with.

Stephen, I never go out fishing without a camera and a brag sheet, as sometimes I release the fish after catching, but still (as Maureen noticed) want to skite about it. :D

Thanks for cutting me down to size Heather. ;)

You should, too. That ruler was bigger than a fish!

Any fish is a good fish if I don't have to cook it :)

Not a problem Wazza, can't have your head getting too big for your hat.

Heather :)

Nothing wrong with canned fish Wazza, Bob, very nutritious. I don't do much fishing, too boring and uncomfortable and there's never anything there to catch.
The whiting from the fishermens co-op at Newcastle is nice.

Thanks Heather, that's sorted. I think.

Maureen, that recipe is a delicacy from Malta. I saw it on the TV and thought it sounded a bit rich but I tried it and it is molto delishioso.

...it's a wonder you remembered that recipe Neville....doubtless having been demonstrated by a busty ethnic sheila chef...? ;)

I admired her for her panache and deep intellectual grasp of culinary arts.
