...never ripped anyone off getting here Marty... 8-)

...I don't actually have a boat, the street I live in probably has a few millionaires in it...(I'm rich, but I don't have much money...) I can see a few millionaires places from here though... :D

Was just having a discussion on this today.

I left school at 15 and was working as a counter jumper in a supermarket within two weeks. five years later I was the store manager and another five I was the retail divisional manager in charge of 16 stores and 600 employees.

worked bloody hard to get what I have and I'm not rich by any means but I have enough to get by and help my family if need be.

Our discussion was about todays generation thinking they are owed a living without putting in the hard yards.

The argument about hard work is valid up to a point. I think that the end point is where there are no jobs to work hard at because the jobs have disappeared ( and we know where and why )

Next time you get a call from an Indian or Philippines call centre, Ross, you could reflect on that question. ;) :)

Some might say it is to make mega profits by exploiting cheap labour, others might say Australian workers have made themselves too expensive for business to be viable ( whatever viable means ) Take your pick ;)
