As with you Dot, many interrupted sleeps have been incurred by the 'night-muse' over the years. I often found myself sitting on the floor of my walk-in robe, (so as not to wake hubby) quickly scribbling down those nagging lines on whatever scrap of paper I could find before I lost them, but that hasn't happened for a while.

Glad you have put pen to paper again too Heather. Hopefully the drought has broken for us!

Thanks Terry... I think that 'bonding' moment is something mothers never forget.

Yes it is a special bond Trish. I posted a poem earlier written by my auntie Pat I think it was called Memories of Mum and although she was in her eighties her mothers hands were still a vivid memory.
