WORRY NOT

Worry not your sweet head about matters that clearly
are beyond your control. Your fate will be merely
decided the moment that you shuffle off
this mortal coil. Dear, there's plenty enough
problems afoot in the right here and now,
to perplex the mind, and to furrow the brow.

Worry not, my love, of what providence holds
for you and for us. As the story unfolds
and the years pass us by, the paths that we take
will meander and wind. The decisions we make
may be wise or foolhardy, but make them we will,
not looking for some prophecy we aim to fulfil.

Worry not, my dear wife, about my love for you
for it grows ever stronger. I wager there's few
so blessed when it comes to affairs of the heart
and the finding of true love. I knew from the start
that there was no other. You are my all
and will be forever, until that last curtain call.
