Well, Maureen - this is a change from last week! Couldn't resist a bit of quirky nonsense ... and after some deliberation I treated "Kardashian" as three syllables (Kar-dash-yan). Not sure if that's right - but here 'tis, anyway ...

KIM KARDASHIAN DROVE A KIA

Kim Kardashian drove a Kia. I guess you are surprised.
No, not that chick in USA somewhere.
This Kim’s my next door neighbour – and I’m sure you’ve realised
her moniker makes people stop and stare.
Her pooch is just a bitzer – not a purebred poodle-type -
encrusted diamond collars aren’t its style.
She doesn’t make the tabloids, or the snazzy showbiz hype.
The CIA don’t have her in a file.
Her overpriced and underpowered car was once detained
for random breath test by the boys in blue.
But when they did a licence check, their smiles became quite strained
“Well, well, what have we here? A joker, who
believes she’s Kim Kardashian! Now then, back up, lady, please -
we’ll have to do a check on your ID.”
She wonders what it’s like to travel home from work with ease
and be anonymous, like you or me.
But I have heard her cleaner boasting glibly at the pub,
enjoying notoriety it brings
to tell the tale of what an honour it has been to scrub
and wash and polish Kim Kardashian’s “things”!

An ingenious twist, Shelley! And yes, those next door neighbours can be a real problem...we've got a noisy one called Elvis Presley (but don't tell anybody).

Love it - very witty and wouldn't it make a beaut performance piece as well. Should see if Bob is interested - he doesn't mid a bit of dress up. Well done - you have made brilliant use of the prompts.

You've got an extra or in line 16 you might want to remove.
