This is great, David, and all so very true! As Sue has said, this poem flows along very smoothly to make for an enjoyable read, and we can all totally relate to your words in more ways than one....Oh, and I don't ride, but the bit about the horses really made me smile!

I'd move David's post to a thread of its own if I could - but I can't find out how to do it. I can post it under my name but that's no good - it needs to be under David's name I can move the whole thread, but not just one post within it. I think there is a way to do it, so if you know how, please tell me.
As for Terry and the "chased" versus "chaste" - I suspect the latter, as you do, but it was such a good line as "chased" that I left it unaltered!!
