Because spring is just around the corner and Pork was on sale at $4.50 a Kg I have spent the last two days making home cured and smoked ham and bacon, 5 Kg of each Yum Yum. In a couple of weeks if the prices stay down we will start to cure all our meat for Christmas, we usually sit about 30 so have got a bit to do.

Unless I go Bird watching like some people. :lol:

Hey Marty (Warooa) if the girls want to go see Winnie the Poo with us just send them over, we got lots of beds. :P

Spring time in Queensland

Spring is here the frogmouth hoots
Time to hang up me footy boots.
Wash the protectors, and those sox
Clean the dried blood, mend torn jocks.

Grab a stubbie, check the yard
check my navel, massage my lard.
Think about the carbon tax
oh it's all too hard might just relax.
