A Marketing Mistake

Post by alongtimegone » Sat Dec 13, 2014 12:37 pm

I did no serious baking
‘till my pizzas started breaking
the hearts of every pizza chef in town.

Magazines then called to speak to me
arrange for exclusivity.
My shyster said “They’ll put five big ones down.”

And that’s not even half of it.
He seemed about to throw a fit.
Said “Soon you’ll be a man of some renown.
……………………………………………..
So forget about Kentucky.
Those buggers will be lucky
to hold on to their most devoted fan.

And as for mighty Maccas,
they can dance and shake maracas,
but soon they’ll see you’re gonna be the man.”

So I rented brand new premises.
Hired guards to act as menaces
to stop the pizza mafia and their clan.
……………………………………….
I put signs that indicated
they’d have futures quite ill fated,
then dug trenches each with fancy head stones laid.

I built barricades restrictive,
preventing those vindictive
enough to try their hardest to invade.

But the freaking barbed wire fences
did in all my customer’s senses
and the outcome? No pizza sales were made.

If you had Silvia Colloca there to help with the pizza they would be lined up down the street. I'd be there ! ;) :)

No I don't know about Bitchin Kitchen.

I think we should have the bush poets AGM at Wazza's place, he is well qualified to do the catering. :)
