THE HAUNTED HOUSE
It’s a wretched little tale that I solemnly declare
In circumstances other, I would have chosen not to share
But alas your choice to enter leads me ever to despair
So share this tale I surely fear I must
Those who went before you, with hearts so brave and true
Returned with ashen faces and their hair turned grey white too
I've seen brave men come out crying, somewhat braver men than you
So hear me out and listen well I trust
It is said the 'Haunted House' is simply side show ally fare
But step beyond the entry door into a world of fear
Where ghosts and ghouls and spectres are waiting to appear
And you may live a lifetime of regrets
So pay your price of entry and hold your ticket tight
For poltergeist await you, tortured creatures of the night
And they will dance around you in nefarious delight
To terrify you clean out of your wits
Once more I must implore you, wont you listen to the screams
Of distressed tormented children who undoubtedly it seems
Entered a world of nightmares beyond their wildest dreams
While their parents pray to see them safe again
I am obviously unable to persuade you not to go
So venture forth my brave heart, I hope you enjoy the show
If you emerge unscathed with a staunch determined glow
You might also like a ride on the 'Ghost Train'
