How do you think the programme should be presented??

Live keep it lively with a good smattering of humour and a wide selection of work and interviews for added interest and to put a human face on it - but cut out any aaaahs, errs, you knows etc etc before it goes to air.

But seriously sounds like a cracker of an idea. I reckon keep it rollicking and light-hearted, with some seriousness interspersed (but late night midweek don't wanna put folk to sleep).
And Marty seems an ideal candidate - if he reckon's he's got the voice for it . . . well we can all vouch he's got the head for radio

I think it's a corker idea Manfred, but not being overly computer savvy, how would that effect someone (like me) who is limited in their download time or what ever it is called.

I'm looking at doing a "pilot" to see how much werk is involved, particularly on an ongoing (weekly) basis ...

I have a swag of material already but would like some from any 'regular' poets off the Forum if anyone would like to be involved.

What I'd like initially is one or two (no more) pieces of your own ORIGINAL work with NO - I'll repeat NO MUSIC.
I'd rather not get involved with copyright issues about the music.

If you'd like to send me some ORIGINAL serious or humorous audio works (NO music). There is no guarantee that any of your pieces will be played on the first 'pilot' show ...

Would also like some "Station identifiers" and quick 'grabs', along the lines of ...

"ABPA Bush Poet's Radio, presenting true Australian culture to the World .. "
"Bush Poet's radio? - YEP, that's us ... "
"Bush Poetry?? What's THAT?? - Stay tuned and find out .."
"... and more news of what's happening around the traps ..."
"THAT'S FANTASTIC, IS THERE MORE???"
"As 'Dinki-di' as Swags by the billabong ... "

Please let us know on this thread who will do which of those 'grabs' (they can be done by more than one). In fact I'd love it if any or all of us could do every one in the list above. Can be serious - wacky - offbeat - with any character style ...
Also if you have any other 'grabs' that you may think of ...
