MOI POEM - homework w/e 02/04/12

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Mon Mar 19, 2012 3:44 pm

MOI POEM

Might I just remind you
And that’s every lad and lassie.
Useless here to whinge and moan or
Rant – I find that passé.
Even if you think you can’t - you won’t know till you try.
Everyone can have a go
Now spread your wings and fly.

Can you say in honesty that you don’t know how?
Look up your Funk and Wagnall’s and there you have it. WOW.
Information guaranteed to set you on your way
Free of charge to everyone – so get writing today.
Fancy nancy you can do
Or if you’d rather not,
Rhyme the words – get in the swing and
Dance, and lose the plot, but make sure that you………………………

Sorry Maureen I have to whinge and moan, I've given it some thought but it just won't speak to me yet.

Neville :o

Now don’t you give up
Even though you may want to
Verily I exhort you to try.
I know that you can
Lets give it a shot
Look outside the square with your
Eye

   Thanks Maureen. :) We'll see. I'm going through an arid spell at the moment.

By the way. I have no problem with your rhyming. Like Robin Williams says in Dead Poets' Society " We're doing poetry, not laying pipe " :o
