Freeze

Freeze

It’s minus forty five degrees
And from the south a chilling breeze;
Ye gods here comes a great big sneeze -
Ar….. choo - Oh where’s the hanky please?
Who said that mucous doesn’t freeze?

To tender ears I may have sinned
As "mucous" sails close to the wind.
But copybook I'd surely blot
Were I to call that substance "snot"

Thanks all.
